This is an exquisite, rare vintage 1940's coat from the very talented designer, Vera Maxwell. This coat is in excellent condition and comes from a prominent Northwest estate of high end designer mid century clothing. The coat has a full skirt, a fitted waist, dolman sleeves and it is fully lined. It has no content label but appears to be cashmere or a cashmere blend. Everything from this estate was in pristine condition as the original owner rarely if ever wore anything she purchased. I would estimate this beautiful vintage coat to be a modern day US size 8/10.
